Scare on the Square
Downtown trick-or-treating, bounce houses, a hay maze and Halloween fun in a daytime window that works for little kids.
The City of Rockwall’s Scare on the Square returns October 24 from 2 to 5 PM with Boo Booth trick-or-treating, bounce houses, a hay maze and more downtown activities.
For preschoolers, choose one block or activity as the goal and leave before the final hour if crowds become difficult. Costumes that work with regular shoes and bathroom trips usually make the afternoon easier.
Make it easier with little kids
- Write a phone number inside the costume
- Bring a small treat bag instead of a large bucket
- Photograph your child in the day’s outfit before entering the crowd
